And Caroline Atherton will join as sales assistant, Amazon; she previously worked for Nosy Crow as contracts assistant. Both will start on July 6.

Silver Dolphin and Studio Fun at ReaderLink have one promotion. Catherine Harris has been promoted to designer, from junior graphic designer.

Bonnier Books UK has one new hire. Chris Kouzes has joined in the newly created role of SVP sales for North America, leading strategy and growth across the publisher’s trade businesses in the U.S., including the Igloo children’s division. He was most recently SVP of sales and distribution at Cottage Door Press. Bonnier Books UK's U.S. hybrid sales team will report directly to Kouzes, who will report to recently appointed chief commercial officer Anna Derkacz.

Walker Books Group has one new hire. Alice Natali will be joining Candlewick Press in the Walker Books London office as head of fiction rights, starting September 14. Most recently, she was rights manager at Macmillan Children's Books (UK). Prior to that, she worked at Intercontinental Literary Agency as a translation agent.

Chooseco has one new hire. Rachel Sonis has joined as senior editor. She was previously ideas editor at Time magazine.

Scholastic has one promotion and two new hires. Abigail Jordon has been promoted to publicist; previously, she was associate publicist. And Roxanna Cardenas Colmenares and Bailyn Handler have both joined as editorial assistants.

Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing has one new hire. Emma Desserault has joined as publicity assistant.

Bloomsbury Children’s Books has two promotions. Sarah Shumway has been promoted to executive editorial director, from editorial director. And Alex Borbolla has been promoted to executive editor, from senior editor.

Most recently, she was an intern at Wednesday Books and Saturday Books. Irene Vandervoort has joined as senior designer, art/design; most recently, she was a freelance art director at Simon & Schuster’s Aladdin imprint. Alice Moye-Honeyman has been promoted to designer, art/design, from junior production designer. And Ali Romig has been promoted to editor at Delacorte Press, from associate editor.

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, in Amherst, Mass., has one new hire. Rebecca Klassen will join as chief curator, effective in September, after spending 13 years at the New York Historical, where she served as curator of material culture and decorative arts.
