Excited about After album release is before album release. Our brains are already full of stupid ideas that somehow need to become real. Also, we can’t wait to end the year with our Japan/Australia tour, it’s always so much fun there. And after that, we’re very happy to take some time to recharge, be with our families, and appreciate what an insane year 2026 has been!
My current music collection has a lot of I can tell you our playlist looks like the algorithm has completely given up on us. It’s basically musical ADHD, we listen to nearly everything: Deathcore, techno, country, hip-hop, pop… Our creative minds need that input.
Preferred format We mostly stream our daily dose of music. It’s convenient, it’s everywhere, and it’s perfect for discovering new artists. But nothing beats a physical album. The smell, the artwork, the ritual of putting it on, the personality of every release… and sometimes the taste, if it’s a really good one.

I’d never heard of the band before they released “Stressed Out.” After hearing it, I completely fell in love with the song and started listening to the entire album. I fell in love with it even more. They blended so many genres together so seamlessly. The beats, the range of his voice, the drums, the lyrics. Everything about it is incredible. It’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.
Sempiternal, Bring Me the Horizon
I’d never really connected with Bring Me the Horizon until I heard Sempiternal. From that moment on, I couldn’t stop listening to it. It’s one of those albums that feels heavy, emotional, melodic, and incredibly catchy all at the same time. The production is phenomenal, the atmosphere is huge, and Oli’s vocals just sound amazing.

Made in Japan, Deep Purple
My dad introduced me to this record when I was a little kid, and his passion for it completely rubbed off on me. For that era, the heaviness of songs like “Highway Star” was mind-blowing, and it’s still my favorite track on the album. I also loved the live energy, the call-and-response between Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore during “Strange Kind of Woman” is burned into my memory. This record was the starting point of my entire musical journey. It’s the first time I remember someone truly igniting that spark in me.
Iowa, Slipknot
Growing up, I went through everything…hardcore, classic metal, black metal, you name it. But Iowa was the first album that genuinely felt like nothing I’d ever heard before. It was heavier than almost everything else, chaotic and experimental, yet somehow every song had a purpose and structure. I was obsessed with every track. It was also the soundtrack to my first big concert, and I think that’s when I realized I didn’t just want to watch bands from the crowd. I wanted to be the one standing on that stage.
Someday Came Suddenly, Attack Attack!
When we started our band, we were completely immersed in the MySpace scene, and this album was one of our biggest inspirations. It showed us how naturally synths and electronic elements could exist alongside crushing heavy music. It felt fresh, energetic, melodic, and unapologetically fun. But it wasn’t just the music—it represented an entire culture and attitude that we connected with. That album played a huge role in helping us find our own identity and ultimately shaped the sound we wanted to create.
