Out of the entire Beckham family, we’ve learned that we can always depend on youngest son, Cruz, to deliver A+ social media content, with the 21-year-old musician often going viral for his apparent lack of filter.
For example, last year, he couldn’t resist taking a jab at estranged eldest brother Brooklyn when somebody seemingly mistook him for his sibling. As I’m sure you know, Brooklyn’s various short-lived careers over the years have made him the butt of the joke in pop culture, and when Cruz posted a video of himself singing to TikTok, another internet user wrote: “going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something,” to which Cruz quipped in response: “Wrong brother mate.”
And amid the family’s bitter feud with Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Cruz was caught brazenly mocking his sister-in-law months before the extent of the drama had even become public.
Nicola had left a gushing comment on middle brother Romeo’s ex-girlfriend’s Instagram photo, writing: “so beautiful mia 🩷✨” When Romeo posted a photo dump of his own a couple of days later, Cruz commented: “So beautiful Romeo ✨🩷,” and Romeo replied: “😂😂”
Cruz has also been the only Beckham family member to publicly speak out on the rumors surrounding them. For example, when it was widely reported that Brooklyn was upset about Romeo’s relationship with Kim Turnbull because, apparently, Kim is his ex, Cruz explicitly stated: “Brooklyn and Kim never dated” — Kim herself has also issued a statement vehemently denying any romantic involvement with Brooklyn.
And when tabloids mistakenly reported that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram in December, Cruz was quick to set the record straight. Posting a Daily Mail headline about the unfollowing to his Instagram story, Cruz wrote: “NOT TRUE My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
The following month, things escalated dramatically when Brooklyn posted an explosive six-post Instagram story statement detailing his ongoing feud with his parents and siblings, which you can read all about here. While none of the others publicly acknowledged what was claimed in the statement, Cruz was caught liking various Instagram memes poking fun at Brooklyn’s assertion that mom Victoria had danced “very inappropriately on” him at his and Nicola’s 2022 wedding.
Shortly afterward, Cruz shared a TikTok video of himself and Romeo riding in the back of a car with their girlfriends. While the video itself was arguably unremarkable, Cruz captioned the now-deleted post: “Imagine hating and we’re just here like.”
All of this to say that Cruz is second to none when it comes to social media presence, and people have, once again, been left gagged after he was spotted commenting on a viral Instagram post that claimed all of the Beckham children are "ugly" earlier this week.
The post seemingly originated on X, but was shared to the Mostly Humour meme account on Instagram. It features a clip of David and Victoria Beckham early on in their relationship, alongside the tweet: “It’s bizarre that a couple with such an insanely stunning face card only ended up with ugly kids.”
After already going viral on X, the post on Instagram had over 25,000 likes… Which, for the record, I want to say is pretty cruel and unfair — I’d also like to point out that none of the four Beckham children are actually ugly. Romeo, for example, has literally starred in major global billboard campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, and Champion.
Still, it seems like Cruz could see the funny side of the post, simply commenting a popular reaction meme of comedian Druski looking confused while pointing to himself:
Obviously, people absolutely loved this response from Cruz, with a whole bunch of people replying with the crying with laughter emoji. Somebody else joked: “@cruzbeckham ariana what are you doing hereeee,” while another wrote: “I spit out my water😂😂😂” One more added: “😂😂😂😂 they did u dirty ngl.”
“omg😂 you’re not supposed to see this,” another comment reads, while somebody else jokingly concluded: “lmaooooo at least hes funny.”
