Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour is officially in full swing. While we still have over a month before the Marvel Studios movie premieres on July 31st, 2026, we can use this time to admire Zendaya's "method dressing" outfits that she and her image architect, Law Roach, have been styling together as she promotes the new film alongside her newly web husband, Tom Holland.

Although there have been rumors about why Zendaya has been wearing black as the main color for this tour, neither she nor Law has confirmed whether it means her character, MJ, is in trouble in the franchise's fourth installment. However, Zendaya has said in multiple interviews that this film will be a tear-jerker.

In a recent interview with IGN Benelux, she said, "Yeah, I mean, for me at least, there's just so many emotional scenes that you guys haven't seen that I am like, 'Oh man, this is going to, like, break people's hearts in a way that, like...I don't know...they're not gonna see coming," she began. "And, like, a FEW scenes. It's not like just one scene that's going to break your heart; it's, like, at least three or four that I can think of off [the top of my head]."

So, until we can officially see the new Spider-Man film to figure out what message Zendaya and Law have been trying to convey through her outfits, let's admire what she's been wearing so far on this tour below:
1. The press tour started in Madrid, Spain, with this heart-shaped vintage lace and silk minidress with an asymmetric fringe hem from Christian Cowan.

According to the fashion brand's Instagram, the dress has been "Constructed from authentic vintage 1940’s lace and silk, the gown references one of the era’s most enduring eveningwear silhouettes, translated through a contemporary Spanish perspective."

4. For her next all-black look, Zendaya wore a see-through black minidress embroidered with metallic floral lace and an asymmetric ruffled hem, which is covered by a floor-length lurex tweed coat from McQueen.
5. During press interviews, Z switched to this floor-length, black-tiered bias silk chiffon dress with a hand-beaded spider (and web) in the center from Rodarte. But instead of just wearing the dress by itself, Law layered it over a pair of black slacks since the dress is sheer.

6. When Tom and Z stopped in Berlin, Germany, the actress opted for a sporty look from Coach, wearing a football jersey-like long sleeve in red over a plaid skirt and burgundy heels.

Why the number 39? Well, according to Marie Claire, this photo call was exactly 39 days before the Spider-Man: Brand New Day release date.

While the low-rise train and cropped leather vest look amazing, the star of this look is the sapphire, aquamarine, and tanzanite spider-web earrings from Lydia Courteille.

8. And finally, in Rome, Italy, Z wore this two-piece metallic red-and-blue cropped top and mini skirt from the Versace Fall/Winter 1997 collection, paired with white heels.
