Reflections Title to Our Daily Bread

Debbie Alsdorf of Books and Such Literary Management has negotiated world rights with Dawn Anderson, acquiring editor for Our Daily Bread Publishers, for Invited: Embracing the Invitations of Jesus by Ginger Hughes, who blogs at No Mama’s Perfect, where she posts prayers, wisdom, and encouragement. The book features 40 days of reflections on living a fuller life and is planned for summer 2028.

New ‘Twirl’ Board Book to Harvest House

Ruth Samsel, senior acquisitions editor and gift sales manager of Harvest House Publishers, has taken world rights to Twirl by Emily Lex, author and illustrator of the 2021 bestselling book by the same name for older children about how they are wonderfully made by God. This new board book for the young readers is the first in a multi-book deal with author-illustrator Lex, who is agented by Jenni Burke of Illuminate Literary Agency. Release is planned for fall 2027.

Lake Drive Signs Queer Guide to Healing from Religious Harm

David Morris, publisher of Lake Drive Books, has taken world rights for the tentatively titled The Gospel of You: A Queer Guide to Healing from Religious Harm and Reclaiming Confidence, Joy, and Freedom, to be published in May 2027. Author Eric Feltes, who is unagented, is a life coach, speaker and educator. The book focuses on queer people who have experienced religious harm by reframing spirituality and personal growth as a journey of self-reclamation and discovery, per the publisher.

Eerdmans Takes Devotional for Dads

Lisa Ann Cockrel, senior acquisitions editor at Eerdmans Publishing, bought world rights to Eric Clayton’s tentatively titled A Dad’s Book of Delights: A 40-Day Devotional for Fathers of All Ages. Clayton, an author and deputy director of communications at the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the U.S., invites fathers into a new sense of wonder as they meditate on the experience of fatherhood and God’s invitation to see the world anew through the eyes of their children, according to the publisher. The book is slated for 2028. Keely Boeving of WordServe Literary brokered the deal.

Fiction Author Continues Series with Revell

Robin Jones Gunn, author of more than 100 books with nearly 7 million copies sold worldwide, adds a fourth book to her Suitcase Sisters fiction series with an as-yet-untitled story set in Austria. Executive editor Rachel McRae of Revell Books acquired world rights from Janet Kobobel Grant of Books & Such Literary. The book is set to release in November 2027.

Prayers for Nation to ODB Publishing

Dawn Anderson, executive editor of Our Daily Bread Publishing, acquired world rights for Prayers for Our Nation: 90 Days of Prayer for Renewal, Strength, and God’s Direction by Janet Holm McHenry. McHenry has written 27 books—eight on prayer including the bestselling Prayer Walk. Janet Kobobel Grant of Books & Such Literary completed the deal. The book is scheduled to release spring 2028.

Bethany House Signs Book on Prayer

Cynthia Ruchti of Books & Such Literary Agency has negotiated world rights with Andy McGuire, VP of editorial at Bethany House, for Jayce O'Neal’s as-yet-untitled book teaching readers how to begin and maintain a lifelong habit of prayer that draws them nearer to God, per the publisher. The book is scheduled to release in 2027.

IVP Title on Witnessing to Christ in the Middle East

Al Hsu, associate editorial director for trade at IVP, has taken world rights to the tentatively titled The Posture Program: Recentering the Church’s Witness in the Middle East Around the Way of Jesus by Fares Abraham, who was unagented. A spring 2028 release is planned. According to the publisher, the book helps identify distortions and recover Christ-centered clarity in the church’s response to the Middle East. Abraham is a Palestinian American Christian leader and an adjunct faculty member at Liberty University.
